El Día de los Enamorados

February 13, 2017

This week we are taking a little break from our alphabet to celebrate "El Día de los Enamorados" (Valentine's Day).  In some Spanish speaking countries, they call this holiday, "El Día de Amor y Amistad." (Love and Friendship Day).  We will be making some cards in Spanish for our friends and decorating a bulletin board with messages of love and friendship.  We are also using this week to catch up on our notebooks and finish any work that we haven't completed yet.

We are exactly halfway through with the alphabet at this point.  Keep practicing all the vocabulary we have learned so far!

Coming up next week... Ñ is for Ñandutí.  (Next week we will be talking about Paraguay and preparing for our Spanish Fair!)
