We've had a bit of break from learning new vocabulary, but now we will be learning about clothing and colors. We'll review adjective agreement as we describe some articles of clothing using the letter "a" on the end of our adjectives and some articles of clothing will use the letter "o." We'll talk about how it doesn't matter if the clothing is for boys or girls, it is the word itself that we will match the adjectives to. For example, "un vestido rojo" is a "red dress." This is a masculine word, but something used by females. Another example is "una corbata amarilla" (a yellow tie). This is a feminine word, but something used by males.
We will also be reviewing the verbs "tener" (to have) and "ser" (to be), and we'll be conjugating a regular -ar verb: "llevar" (to wear). By the end of this week, students will be able to fully describe what they are wearing. Don't forget to make a Flipgrid video to describe what you are wearing!
