This week, we are putting commands and body parts together and we will be role playing going to the doctor's office. The doctor will ask, "¿Cómo te sientes?" (How do you feel?) and we can respond with, “Me siento bien, mal, or asi-asi.” (I feel good, bad, or so-so.) The doctor will then ask, “¿Te duele…” (Does your… hurt?) as we practice our parts of the body vocabulary. We’ll respond with “Me duele…” or “Me duelen…” depending on if we are talking about one body part or many. Finally, the doctor will give us some instructions to help make us feel better using a command. For example, the doctor might say, “Toma dos aspirinas” (Take 2 aspirin) or “Come fruta” (Eat fruit). The doctor might also suggest that we not do something: “No comas mucha pizza” (Don’t eat a lot of pizza) or “No bailes por dos semanas.” (Don’t dance for two weeks.)
To practice parts of the body vocabulary, try playing the games on the website. To practice commands or “Me duele/ Me duelen,” try doing the quizzes for those two topics. Also, don’t forget to make a Flipgrid video all about you!
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
